Edward Waters brings more than 25 years of experience working with both the Legislative and Executive branches of New Jersey government, as well as extensive expertise in government affairs.
Before joining State Street Associates, Ed served as Legislative Director for the 8th Legislative District offices of Senator Martha Bark and Assemblymen Francis Bodine and Larry Chatzidakis. In that role, he helped craft and implement the district’s legislative agenda and provided policy guidance on a wide range of issues.
Earlier in his career, Ed worked in the Senate Majority Office under Senate Presidents Donald DiFrancesco and John Bennett, where he served as Deputy Director, and in the Senate Minority Office under Senate Minority Leader Leonard Lance. He began his public service as Legislative Liaison for the New Jersey Commerce and Economic Growth Commission.
In addition to his state government experience, Ed has held several municipal and county appointments. He currently serves as Chairman of the Evesham Township Municipal Utilities Authority and has previously been a member of both the Evesham Township Zoning and Planning Boards. He also served as a board member for the Burlington County Institute of Technology Board of Education.
Outside of government, Ed remains active in his community as Treasurer of the Marlton Youth Soccer Committee.
