State Street Associates (SSA) is a government and public affairs firm established in 1999 as an outgrowth of the Chemistry Council of New Jersey (CCNJ). At that time, a need emerged to provide legislative and regulatory services to companies and business groups beyond the Council’s direct membership.
Today, SSA operates independently of CCNJ, representing clients’ interests in Trenton and across New Jersey while maintaining valuable connections through CCNJ’s long-standing relationships with policymakers and industry leaders.
Since its founding, SSA has built an impressive client portfolio, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small and mid-sized businesses, navigating the complexities of state government. Our current and past clients include food conglomerates, pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturers, educational institutions, real estate developers, fragrance and flavor companies, golf course management organizations, and other industry leaders.
